Deep ruby color. Nose clean, fruity and floral aroma with fresh very elegant and complex. The taste in the palate is soft but also strong, with good length and persistence, supported by tannins a bit alive that stil need a slight refinement in the bottle.

10 years vineyard, 300 metres above the sea level, exposed to the south east in Perugia (Umbria – Italy)

Sangiovese 60% e Merlot 40%
PRODUCTION METHOD
Spured cordon with 4,000 plants per hectar limited 1,5 – 2 kg yield per plant
HARVEST
Manual in basket with careful selection of the best grapes in the half of September for the Merlot and the second half of September for the Sangiovese
VINIFICATION
Total de-stemming followed by a short cold maceration, fermentation and maceration for 20 days at controlled temperature < 30° C with daily pumping
AGING
In steel for 12 months with subsequent aging in bottles
